Terms & Conditions

1. Agreeing to these terms

By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site. We publish here for the benefit of people in and around North Liberty, Iowa, and these terms apply to every visitor regardless of where they are.

2. Who we are

The Healing Wellness Show is a health and wellness podcast hosted by Dr. Mohamed Karim, DC, and sponsored by Iowa Wellness Center, 1395 Jordan St Unit C, North Liberty, IA 52317. References to we, us and our on this page mean The Healing Wellness Show.

3. What this site is for

Everything published here is general education about health topics and about the treatments offered at Iowa Wellness Center. It is not a diagnosis, not a treatment plan, and not a substitute for being examined by a clinician who knows your history. Please also read our Medical Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

4. No doctor and patient relationship

Reading this site, watching an episode, submitting a form or exchanging emails with us does not create a doctor and patient relationship. That relationship begins only when you are examined and accepted as a patient at the clinic, and it is governed by the clinic's own paperwork.

5. Consultation requests are requests

The forms on this site send us a request to be contacted. They do not reserve a time. Nothing is booked until a member of the team speaks with you and confirms it. If you have not heard back and your matter is time sensitive, please call (319) 380-4380 rather than waiting.

6. Emergencies

Do not use this website to report a medical emergency. If you think you are having one, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department. We do not monitor this site around the clock.

7. Episodes, guests and opinions

Guests on the podcast speak for themselves. Their views are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of Dr. Karim, of Iowa Wellness Center, or of this show, and appearing as a guest is not an endorsement of anything that guest sells.

8. Individual results

Any outcome described on this site, in an episode, or in a patient video is that person's experience. Bodies, histories and conditions differ, so no result shown here is a promise or a prediction of what will happen for you.

9. Our content

The text, layout, graphics, logos, episodes and video on this site belong to The Healing Wellness Show or to the people who licensed them to us. You are welcome to read, share links and quote briefly with credit. You may not copy substantial parts of the site, republish our episodes as your own, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you.

10. What you send us

• Send us only information you have the right to send.
• Keep detailed medical information off web forms and email. Neither channel is secure.
• If you send us a review, testimonial or comment, you allow us to publish it, in full or shortened for length, alongside a first name or initial.
• Do not send anything abusive, unlawful, or designed to interfere with the site.

11. Links to other sites

We link to Iowa Wellness Center, to podcast platforms, and occasionally to other resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or their privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the other end of it.

12. Sponsorship

This show is sponsored by Iowa Wellness Center, and the treatments discussed here are ones the clinic provides. We tell you that openly so you can weigh what you read accordingly.

13. Availability

We try to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error free, or current at every moment. We may change, move or remove pages without notice.

14. Disclaimer and limits

This site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the same extent, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or your reliance on anything published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or for personal injury caused by negligence.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of Johnson County, Iowa.

16. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
